Membership is available to persons age one day old and over.  Members age one day to  16 years are junior members and must have a trustee.  Junior members are not eligible to obtain loans or vote in members’ meetings.

A trustee is an individual (parent, guardian or adult party) entrusted with the care of the property of the junior member.  The trustee is not the owner of the account but must open and operate the account on behalf of the junior member.

Simply visit our office and present the following:

1. Proof of your current home address, e.g. recent utility bill, bank statement
2. A minimum opening deposit of BDS $55.00.  This is made up of a membership fee of $5.00 and your membership qualifying shares of $50
3. A completed Membership Application Form, available from our Credit Union office or by email upon request
4. Two (2) forms of valid photo identification

We are in the annex of the Nation Newspaper in Fontabelle, St. Michael.

Yes.  Membership in our credit union is open to:

• Barbadian nationals residing outside of Barbados
• Non-Barbadian residing in Barbados with approved immigration status Individuals proposed for membership by an existing member

Yes. If you are already a member of another credit union(s) in Barbados and wish to join Reliance Credit Union then you must apply for dual membership and indicate such on your application form. Your application will be processed on confirmation of dual membership approval from the credit union(s) where you already have the membership.

You can apply for a loan after six months of accumulated savings, by regular contribution or natural growth.
